More About Mammogram Specialist and Advanced MAMMOGRAPHY

MammoLink® represents the evolution of better digital mammography services and breast exams by our mammogram specialist for cancer care in the United States.

MammoLink® is a professional team of leading experts in the field of mammography. We work with talented OB-gyn and general practitioner physicians across the United States to provide premier in-office mammography services for patients.

In-office digital mammography significantly improves patient care by increasing breast cancer screening compliance, patient satisfaction, and returning a significant revenue stream directly back into one of the most important parts of the healthcare system—where direct contact occurs between patients and their doctors.

MammoLink® services do not require any up-front financial investment, staffing requirements, or mammography knowledge. What we do require is room for a digital mammography machine, a practice that recommends approximately 10 screening mammograms per day, and a desire to offer better mammography services for your practice and your patients. We take care of the rest.

We provide an extensive portfolio of in-office mammography options and solutions that are completely customized to work best with individual practice locations and infrastructure, patient demographics, and daily workflow practices. Our physicians choose everything from technologist uniforms and room colors and design to electronic medical record integration preferences.

We think of everything, so you don’t have to. MammoLink® assumes complete legal and regulatory compliance for every aspect of your new services by working closely with all state and federal regulatory agencies.

MammoLink® works exclusively with equipment manufacturers recognized as world leaders in women’s imaging. We exclusively install brand new state-of-the-art 3-D (breast tomosynthesis) digital mammography units to ensure your patients receive the best mammogram possible.

MammoLink® employs only the nation's leading experts in the field of mammography. All mammographers have completed at least 5 years in radiology after completing medical school and have completed at least one additional year of exclusive fellowship training in breast imaging from academic institutions from across the United States.

MammoLink® provides you and your patients instantaneous results that are interpreted at the time of the service. If additional mammography images are needed, they are performed immediately.

For Patients:

The reality of the traditional mammography experience for millions of women is that the process is time-consuming, inefficient, anxiety provoking, sometimes painful, often substandard, and almost always to a degree burdensome.

We threw away the script—literally. MammoLink® and your doctor bring the mammogram to you in your doctor’s office. You no longer have to call to schedule a separate appointment, travel to a hospital or outpatient imaging facility, or wait for your mammogram.

No more anxious waiting. Your mammogram results are available instantaneously following your mammogram. If additional imaging is needed, it can be performed right away. No more sleepless nights while waiting over a week or more to receive your mammogram results.

No more substandard mammogram. No missed cancers, no extra call-backs. Traditionally, high-quality breast imaging services such as those offered by Emory Hospital, Yale, Princeton, and other well-known breast imaging departments were only available to those willing to invest a significant amount of time, money, and effort.

MammoLink® exclusively employs only leading experts in the field of mammography. All mammographers have not only completed at least 5 years in radiology after completing medical school but have completed at least one additional year exclusively training in breast imaging under the world's leading experts in the field at academic institutions from across the United States.

No more painful mammograms or outdated equipment. MammoLink® uses only brand new state-of-the-art 3-D mammography (breast tomosynthesis) units and leading credentialed and certified mammography technologists recognized to be the best in their field.

MammoLink® makes your mammogram more meaningful. MammoLink gives back to breast cancer foundations and societies that you choose. At the time of your mammogram, you choose to donate your portion of the study to the organization of your choice including the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen. Not only are you helping yourself, but helping to improve the way we deal with a disease that in some way links us all.

About Us:

Ryan Polselli, M.D.

Dr. Ryan Polselli is a leading expert in the field of breast imaging. He graduated medical school from the University of South Florida in 2006 and completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Emory University in 2011. He then completed a fellowship in Breast Imaging as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Grady Memorial Hospital and the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.

During Dr. Polselli’s fellowship training, he was mentored by faculty considered to be some of the world's leading authorities in the field of Breast Imaging, including original members of the first BI-RADS committee responsible for the current FDA adopted standard in mammography reporting used today, members of the ACR appropriateness advisory committees, and other distinguished faculty members.

Dr. Polselli began his clinical career as the Director of Breast Imaging at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. During his tenure, he is most proud of increasing the quality of care for patients in the community by significantly increasing the cancer detection rate in patients undergoing mammography as well as implementing cutting edge diagnostic technology such as MRI-guided breast biopsies.

While Dr. Polselli was medical director, the hospital was awarded the coveted designation of a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence (BICOE) from the American College of Radiology, as well as full accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), and full accreditation from the Joint Commission of Healthcare Accreditation (JCAHO).

Dr. Polselli is the appointed lead interpreting breast imaging radiologist for 4 successful outpatient imaging centers. He interprets over 20,000 2D and 3D mammograms per year and has performed well over 1,000 stereotactic guided, ultrasound guided, and MRI-guided breast biopsies. He holds patents for several breast imaging medical devices which improve patient care and reduce medical errors.

Dr. Polselli believes the biggest opportunity for improvement in the field of Breast Imaging currently lies with increasing the quality of mammographic interpretation through the use of fellowship trained breast imagers and making breast cancer screening more accessible and convenient to patients by directly linking mammography services to patient primary care. It is this belief that is the basis for MammoLink.®

Miranda Polselli, B.S., RT (R)(M)(BD)(ARRT)

Miranda Polselli is a lead mammography technologist. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Radiological Sciences from Armstrong State University in 2011. She is an active member of the American Society of Radiological Technologists (ASRT) and certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with certifications in Radiography, Mammography, and Bone Densitometry.

Miranda is proficient in screen-film mammography, standard 2D digital mammography, breast exam for tomosynthesis, breast exam for ultrasound, hereditary breast exam for cancer genetic screening, and stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI-guided breast biopsies. She has served on prior breast exams interdisciplinary conference boards and is an excellent liaison for patients, primary care and specialty physicians, nurse navigators, and breast imaging radiologists.

Miranda is an expert in regulatory compliance with the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). She has successfully overseen numerous new digital mammography unit installations and has achieved a one hundred percent success rate on all prior MQSA inspections by competently coordinating American College of Radiology (ACR) clinical image approval, physicist certifications, Quality Control and Quality Assurance programs for both personnel and radiological equipment, and radiology reporting and record keeping.

Miranda believes that patient mammograms can and should be a relatively painless and enjoyable process and that a positive experience not only increases patient satisfaction but also importantly increases patient participation in breast cancer screening. She believes that easily and efficiently providing mammograms and timely reporting at the level of the primary care physician is one of the best ways this can be achieved
